Going into the fitting room to try on clothes can be
frustrating and sometimes depressing (well maybe a lot depressing ;-) )
especially when the size we take into the fitting room doesn’t fit. It wouldn’t
be so bad if the garment was too big.
Problem is, it’s too small and we have to go out and look for a bigger
size. We try on the bigger size and
we’re so caught up on the number of the tag that we forget to look at how good the
garment looks on us. If we can just
forget the number on the tag and look at the reflection in the mirror, we might
actually like what we see.
Truth is, not everyone can be a Size 8 or Size 10 or as some
call it, a Size Zero. But we can all
learn how to dress the size we are, emphasizing our good bits and downplaying
or disguising our not-so-good bits and dressing in the colors that suit us and lift
our spirits.
The DRESS ON SHOW today is vintage-inspired. It celebrates and is made in Size
18. Clever use of the same fabric
throughout with unbroken lines, create a slimming effect. With the right shoes and accessories you’ll
be a knockout at your function or event.
